What are credits in Promptastic?
Credits in Promptastic are the units of currency used to pay for the usage of the OpenAI APIs. Each time you run a prompt, a certain number of credits are deducted from your balance.
How do I obtain credits?
To obtain credits, you can purchase them through the app. Promptastic offers different credit packages to choose from based on your needs. You can select a package that suits your usage requirements and make a purchase to add credits to your balance.
How are credits deducted from my balance?
When you run a prompt using Promptastic, the number of credits required for that specific prompt is deducted from your balance. The deduction is based on the complexity and length of the prompt, which determines the API usage.
What is the pricing difference between the different models?
The pricing for each model in Promptastic is as follows:
• GPT-3.5 Turbo: 50 coins per 1000 tokens.
• GPT-3: 100 coins per 1000 tokens.
• GPT-4: 200 coins per 1000 tokens.
It's important to note that the total number of tokens in the prompt and the generated tokens by the model contribute to the calculation of usage and deduction from your credit balance. Please keep in mind that the pricing mentioned above is subject to change.
Can I check my credit balance?
Yes, you can easily check your credit balance within the app. The Balance screen provides you with real-time information about the remaining credits in your account.
Is there a way to monitor my credit usage?
Absolutely! Promptastic offers a detailed usage history feature that allows you to keep track of your credit consumption. You can review past prompts, their corresponding credit deductions, and the date and time of each usage.
What happens if my credit balance reaches zero?
If your credit balance reaches zero, you will need to purchase additional credits to continue using Promptastic. Running prompts without sufficient credits may result in the app being unable to process your requests.
Are credits transferable or refundable?
Credits in Promptastic are non-transferable and non-refundable. They are only valid for API usage within the app. Please make sure to utilize your credits effectively and in accordance with the app's terms and conditions.
Can I earn free credits?
Promptastic occasionally offers promotional events or referral programs where you can earn free credits. Keep an eye on our announcements and notifications to take advantage of such opportunities.
